Well, I’ve been a bit busy with a new job that’s 30 minutes from my house, The Sychophant, and quite a few other things, so I’ve (unintentionally) let PL slide a bit. Fortunately (and just recently) I’ve moved my hosting to another provider, and figured I’d update. In fact, I’ve moved quite a lot. A new house, a new provider, and a new job.

Not everything works right at the moment, but I’m in the process of uploading everything again (which is quite a task), so bear with me. The rar files for the video stills will take the longest, but I’m working on it.

Soon there will be new goodies, but first I want to get the older stuff up and running.

Cd Collection

I will not apologize for an album on this list, or for that matter, the lack of an album. I’ve been spending quite a lot of time rummaging around on the internet in lue of actually doing anything else, and whilst on one of my magical interweb sprees I happened across an article about feminism. Now, I have a small ball of feminism brewing in me as well - I am a girl, and naturally, I think I deserve the same respect as anyone, scrotum or no scrotum. However, I also tend to prefer a more balanced set of ideals, and feminism is nothing short of a one sided argument.

Now, I love women (mostly) - I’m a lesbian - but I don’t think I would support a group the dehumanizes, or rather, degrades one sex or the other. In fact, I wouldn’t be a part of a group that puts any one type of person over another. Feminism, to me, seems like the exact same thing men did to women before Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Caddy Stanton (is that how you spell her name. . . ?) , only to the opposite effect. Shitty as we may have had it as a gender, I don’t agree pulling the same kinds of antics to the offending parties simply because they are part of the sex that used to believe it was better than us.

It’s sort of ridiculous actually.

It’s the same thing as the race issue now. If I were to call a black person black, then I am racist, but white is a politically correct and often used term. I have no issue being called white. I am. (Pasty, actually, and more translucent than anything, but you get the idea.) So I don’t understand while describing someone using the color of their skintone is racist because I am ethnically void of pigment.

What I want to see is equality. Real equality - not the previously offended party pulling a 180 and doing the exact same thing they were pissed off about beforehand. I want to see a world with no physical, sexual, gay-bi-straight, religious, polygamist-monogamist, black-white-purple differentiation. None. There should be no laws, or even ideals, on what a person can or can’t do because of a skintone, a gender, or an orientation.

That would be something to be thankful for on Thanksgiving.

That said, I want to make clear that there are lines - and that all participating parties should be able to acknowledge and accept the terms that come with the choices. Basically, bestiality is out. Way out.

I just uploaded every set of Smashing Pumpkins Stills I have, which means I’m down to misc. stills, and then I have to start gathering more videos to still. Then after that, there are backgrounds, layouts, and a bunch of stuff. But of course, one step at a time.

I also e-mailed Michelle @ Echoica, to make sure I could use her brushes on the templates, and she said it was fine (provided a credit link was given of course), so there are even more templates to come.
